Incarnation Catholic Church

♰ Et Verbum Caro Factum Est ♰ And The Word Was Made Flesh ♰
Catholic Church. Roman Catholic. Faith. Tradition. Reverence.

If one is asked, what is the mission of the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter? The answer to that question need not take a lot to memorize and present. The answer is evangelism.

– Rev. William Holiday

Incarnation Catholic Church was founded initially as the Church of the Incarnation, an Anglican ecclesial body, in the early 1980’s.  The congregation was established as a parish of the Traditional Anglican Communion, a body that as part of its by-laws sought to restore union with the Roman Catholic Church.  The parish reached a high point of approximately 120 members and progressed steadily in its mission until 2012 when the parish was formally received into full communion with the Roman Catholic Church as a part of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter, a diocesan-like structure under the jurisdiction of the Ordinary based in Houston, Texas. Incarnation is now home to over 400 parishioners. All Catholic are welcomed to receive the Sacraments at Incarnation.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
